2017 reissue of the 1978 release, regarded as a classic of European prog, remastered by the artist. Thibault was a founding member of Magma and founder of the Theleme label in the early 70s.
"This reissue under the label Theleme (French label, owned by ex-Magmas bassist and musical brainThibault. The label released some of the most obscure psychedelic and prog rock records during the 70s), which is reborn for the occasion, the rare mythical album "But we can not dream all the time", ranked by some as the best album of progressive rock European, is particularly neat and offers many exclusives.
Thus, the new and beautiful clutch opens, unlike the old one that was simple. The painting "The Charmeuse de Serpent" by Douanier Rousseau is now presented in full, with the signature of the painter.
The painting "The War or the Ride of Discord", which inspired the eponymous title that concludes the album is found in the internal double page. We discover a long text of the composer who explains the genesis of the project.
On the back cover, among international press excerpts: Japan, USA, GB, Europe ..., a particular English critic: "Laurent THIBAULT is a musical painter, and his paintings are exquisite, full of finesse and nuances. His album is certainly one of the most beautiful records, the most impressionist and evocative, and also tinged with a strong influence Zeuhl."
The term Zeuhl includes music styles related to the MAGMA group, one of the most innovative groups on the planet. Moreover, the groups famous logo (originally designed by Laurent THIBAULTs sister) appears in the background, just as one reads, engraved in the wax on the Face A of the vinyl, the motto of MAGMA: "For life, to death and forever ...". The central label reproduces an extract from The Serpent Charmeuse. The sound has been remastered by Laurent Thibault in his new studio Le CHTEAU in Angers." - Theleme.
