"Gary Beauvais has been making progressively evolving experimental, psychedelic and
heavy music for over 2 decades in the American sub-underground as Mammal. Outside of
any "scene" or affiliation he has persisted with his vision, creating a body of work
that grapples with infinity and walks on the edge of reality. Here he re-emerges
with his first proper full-length album in over 8 years: DESERTED.
Lo-fi and deeply personal, this album was recorded mostly live during a 10 day span at
home after months of isolation, with only a keyboard, a microphone, and minimal use of
a drum machine. This is super raw and stripped down cathartic, spiritual music of the
pre-apocalypse. This is the first release on Beauvais' own label IMPERMANENCE (a new outlet for
outside-of-time psychedelia and spiritual offerings) and this first pressing is
limited to 250 copies on black vinyl." - Impermanence.
