KOTSONIS, YANNIS - Rotating Surfaces

-¢‚Ǩ-ìAfter his stunning -¢‚Ǩ-ìThe Shape of Failures Past-¢‚Ǩ¬ù release (Granny records 2013), Yannis Kotsonis (Sister Overdrive, Acte Vide, Knot Gallery) returns with -¢‚Ǩ-ìRotating Surfaces-¢‚Ǩ¬ù. Kotsonis is now introducing us to a less known sonic side of him. He is leaving behind the electronic elements, to compose two untitled pieces with collected sounds of-¢‚Ǩ¬¶ rotating surfaces. Side A contains also processed samples from a duo improvisation with Andrew Raffo Dewar on saxophone, which took place at the Virgin Mary of Mount Carmel church in Ano Syros, GR in July 2012.-¢‚Ǩ¬ù - Thalamos.
