First 7 by turntablism-quintet Institut für Feinmotorik from Cologne/Freiburg, well-known for their records on Staubgold and Fusetron. In 2002 the Eventuell-crew organized the first exhibition with the Institut für Feinmotorik at the exhibition space "kontor" (Cologne) to document both their music and their visual art.Although purely done with prepared turnables, the tracks remind of the melancholic atmosphere of Gamelan music, but at the same time both "Original" and "Fälschung" ("imitation") proof that this collective still marks the most playful and elaborate end of minimal techno.
