"The second Hubble Bubble LP from 1979, faithfully restored to the vinyl format. This LP is a less a follow up to to the first than its own entity entirely. If not for the long shadow cast by the S/T LP, its easy to imagine that this would be more highly regarded for the brilliant blend of punk and edgy pop that it is. Theres much here to please fans of the raw punk of the first LP. However, Faking" also exhibits more of an attention to hooks as it makes more than a slight nod toward Pub Rock and Glam: Just hear their devastating version of Kim Fowley and Michael Lloyds "Motor Boat!"" - Radio Heartbeat.
