Most recently, Anthony Mangicapra has expanded his studies with his projected vision as Hoor-paar-Kraat, taking on a subtle form of layered density and broken theater to what some would call a step into the hypnagogic unknown. Always incorporating a sense of textural beauty found in everyday objects, each piece uses its own sculpted resonance that only HpK can bring out into the open for us, as listeners, to interpret. Typically releasing his recordings through his own imprint, Goat Eater Arts, and only on select occasion does HpK release compositions on outside labels.
