"A perfect candidate for L.I.E.S., Black Dice figurehead Eric Copeland follows the trajectory of his Post Present Medium and DFA sessions to some of his strongest dancefloor gear on Logo My Ego. His loops are still sloppier than yer nanas sunday lunch but feel as though hes maybe given the carrots a trim especially for this platter. The five tracks bear a very similar approach to $hit & $hines diesel-stained No wave disco (kinda kicking myself for not noticing that before), from the loose disco smut of Logo My Ego and the bouncing, sweltering psych chug of Uncle Sams Blues and over to the breakbeat fonk extrusion of Trophy Nuts and the dirgey sway of Workin.
