Kyle Eyre Clyd began her solo noise project using unclaimed electronics left behind at her residence, Brooklyns Silent Barn. Since then, her semi-outsider status-¢‚Ǩ‚Äùas a Southerner among the Northeasts local scenes, a non-musician amongst musicians, a woman amongst men-¢‚Ǩ‚Äùhas allowed her to develop a unique voice, tangential to the harsh noise genre. On Eaux", her debut release on Ultraviolet Light, Clyd combines ARP 2600 synthesizer performance, mixer feedback, tape/digital manipulation and field recording.
