"Over the course of 38 years composer/ educator Robert Ceely (1930-2015) was on the faculty at the New England Conservatory where he established and directed the school's Electronic Music Studio in the early 70s, as well teaching composition. He also issued experimental works during the era when electronic/instrumental works were making their way into college record libraries. He likely could have issued thru Opus One or released further work thru CRI, but opted to self-publish on his own BEEP label (named after his own studio).
