In the middle of the fun someone always cracks a thin patch and slices open a wrist. Bloody snow turns veins white. The smashed glass and freezing cold water swirl around you, shimmering in your eyes, locking your brain into patterns of unrecognition so you stop fighting and drop to the bottom like a mannequin.
