BARON, DEREK/ALEC LIVADITIS - Split

Alec Livaditis (see his 2015 LP Clear And Cloud" on Kye and tracks on the V/A "Cellar, Vol. 1" CD on Recital) has started up a new cassette label called Silt Editions. The labels first release will be a split between himself and Derek Baron (Recital, Penultimate Press, Pentiments, etc..). Barons A Side is entitled "Terms to be Avoided" while Livaditiss B Side is entitled "Come to". Both sides last approximately fifteen minutes. Livaditis notes that his track is a departure from his usual music, and is mostly comprised of collaged tape music, while Barons side is reminiscent of Robert Ashley.
