Compilation of recordings by this French psych band in an edition of 300 copies. Includes the songs from the single previously reissued on Cameleon as well as recordings from Fabrice Batys rare "Guitares" LP. On yellow vinyl in gatefold sleeves.
"ANKH is a French group from Normandy (Les Andelys in Eure), formed in autumn 1974 by Fabrice Baty (guitar), Philippe Briard (bass) and Michel Chevalier (drums). In 1976, Philip left the band and was replaced by Renaud Thorez. He had already played with Fabrice in the previous group, COCKROACH, and he was the brother of the wife of Fabrizio, Nathalie, who would join the group on vocals, synths, and percussion. _¢‚Ǩ¬®ANKH is mainly produced in the department of Eure (Les Andelys, Louviers, Vernon, Evreux), in schools, outdoor festivals and municipal festivals where they organized their own gigs and it is the ticket to the latter that the 45t, released in late 76, was distributed.
