The newest release from Damon McMahons Amen Dunes, Ethio Covers is a downer take on three Ethiopiques tracks culled from unnamed tapes. After hearing the songs coming each night through his neighbors wall, he decided to learn the tracks note for note and replicate them through the Amen Dunes lens, overdubbing all the instruments and vocals.
