Title: Take Me Home Vienna
Format: 7"
Label: Mighty Mouth Music
Country: USA
Price: $7.50
"Official reissue of 1981 single w/ rare picture sleeve. 1000 pressed." - Mighty Mouth.

"This reissue of some rare 1981 tracks by Bobb Trimble, a strangely sensitive sounding folkie/singer-songwriter, whose odd voice and artistic ambitions get his ultra-rare records classified as psyche, earning him a cult status that resulted in the eventual re-release of his private press materials. Whats most intriguing about Trimble may be that for a while he assembled an all-little boy backing band, and while they were not incompetent musicians, their imperfection adds to the vulnerability of Trimbles work (think they are backing him on the A-side here, which is the weirdly wonderful title track). Plus, the photos on the sleeve of bob and his Bad News Bears backing band are AWESOME!" - Roctober

Title: Life Beyond The Doghouse
Format: LP
Label: Orpheus
Country: Germany
Price: $24.00
"Its a very rare experience to be sucked into such an honest and fragile universe as Bobb Trimble`s. A space of its own, a musical experience on the other side of what people usually define as proper behavior. Psychedelic folk, real-people music, religious visions. Its hard to label Bobbs music. Life Beyond the Doghouse consists of previously unreleased studio recordings from 1983 and 1986. On side 1 Bobb is backed by his old backingband Violent Reactions from the LP Iron Curtain Innocence from 1980. Six years havent made the music more mainstream. Its so dark and its so lonely. The songs are desperate and have a strange dreamy atmosphere. Bobb is floating like an untouchable ghostlike entity through the darkness. And the voice... scary! Crippled Dog Band on side two is recordings from 1983. Fuzzguitar with adlib phaser. Uncontrolled microphone to all bandmembers. Punkrock attitude from first on. Psychedelic folkpunk with a lot of sounds thats really not supposed to be there. In spite of nearly 20 years in the cupboard it sounds just as fresh as on the day it was recorded." - Orpheus.

A cross between extreme gentility and musical savagery that will have you growing horns out of your own forehead, if not used carefully. Without its few contemporary style-nods, you would never guess the album was originally released in 1982. One of the decades best albums, filled with a mysterious charm that grows with each listen."--Byron Coley. CD also available.

Bobb Trimbles first album appeared like a ghost that had slipped through realitys curtain. Impossible to place inside any rational context, the music and voices seem to have been created inside your head and indeed, maybe they were." --Byron Coley.

Title: The Crippled Dog Band
Format: CD
Label: Yoga
Country: USA
Price: $15.00
"The year was 1983, and Bobb Trimble had two then-unrecognized masterpieces to his credit and a lot of confusion and indifference from his fellow travelers in the Worcester, MA "Wormtown" scene. Never one to worry much about appearances, Bobb accepted an invitation to join a group of teenage boys who called themselves The Crippled Dog Band, named after Boopsie, a three-legged canine local. Bobb donned the title of Chief Crippled Dog and led the Band on enthusiastically-received gigs throughout the region. Unbeknownst to almost anyone, they completed a raucous album full of addictive hooks, feedback, teen chatter and video game noises. But soon the Band splintered and Bobb decided to forget about the whole thing, disposing of the entire 500-count LP pressing in an office park dumpster. All of which would be nothing more than a typically weird footnote to the Bobb Trimble legend, except for the fact that The Crippled Dog Band is very different from, but every bit as remarkable and brilliant as Iron Curtain Innocence and Harvest Of Dreams. Having proved himself, if only to himself, this is where Bobb stops chasing glass menagerie fantasies of perfection, tempers the dread of his first two records, and reconnects with his DIY roots. This unique collaboration between "the greatest psychedelic musician of the 80s" and his scrappy acolytes yields pure rock and roll and the effect is raw, crazy, and infectiously exciting." -Yoga
