"Jeffery Taylor and I started playing guitars together last December 2000. Not long after we decided to invite Rob Millis in on the fun and pretty soon, word got around and Sir Richard was soon begging us to let him change our strings. We considered it for awhile and eventually conceded. The music ranges from soft to loud, and there are many familiar as well as unknown stylistic influences. Its pretty AND its ugly--sometimes at the same time." - Dave Knott, 10/15/01. "well, with that said, and after a long wait for the quartet to go through literally hours and hours of material which they recorded from these weekly get-togethers, they have selected about 40 minutes worth of incredibly varied material drawn all from acoustic guitars (well, there is also harmonium on one track too). this record is worth it for the opening banter alone, but proceeds into some wonderful territory. there is crazed and loud chaos, there are beautiful tuneful passages (after all Dave can play classical guitar and Ricks album on Revenant was no Sun City Girls racket), there is even a drone here. not hi fidelity, these are raw living room recordings, and bare witness that some evenings were more, umm, loose than others. a wonderful little document, and certainly a anomaly in the Anomalous discography (but how could we be Anomalous without anomalies?)." - Anomalous. Limited edition of 207 copies.
