Artist: ART OF BURNING WATER
Title: Living Is for Giving, Dying Is for Getting
Format: LP
Label: Riot Season
Country: UK
Price: $23.00
"Art of Burning Water refuse to die despite being one of the most frowned-upon bunch of noise-making twats of their decade. There is no machine behind this band and the UK "underground" rock circle jerk has never approved them or championed them and they do not have friends in high places (but do have high friends). You wont be told to check them out and they will not be seen high-fiving the correct people in the correct places in order to push their way up festival bills with the correct bands. Art of Burning Water are outsiders in the truest sense of the word and very proud to stand outside the golden circle of your love. Art of Burning Water are a steroided immigrant noise punk outfit that does not need to be loved to live. Art of Burning Water love what they do and therefore need not be loved for what they do. This is strong music by weak people. For fans of Keelhaul, Rorschach, Voïvod, Amebix, Godflesh, and Motörhead. Hand-printed sleeve. Limited to 150 copies." - Riot Season.

Artist: AUFGEHOBEN
Title: Anno Fauve
Format: CD
Label: Riot Season
Country: UK
Price: $19.00
"Third CD release from Riot Season and the third album from the newly shortened monikered Aufgehoben (previously Aufgehoben No Process). Anno Fauve sees the band collaborate once again with stereo guitar virtuoso Gary Smith (Mass, Glass Cage, Powerfield etc). Anno Fauve is an album for those who like their music difficult with the density, dynamics and bludgeoning distortion levels that have become the hallmarks of an Aufgehoben release. Anno Fauve contains 6 tracks spread over 50 minutes and comes in a wonderfully weird designed sleeve." - Riot Season.

Artist: BLACK BONED ANGEL
Title: Eternal Love/Eternal Hunger
Format: LP
Label: Riot Season
Country: UK
Price: $20.00
"Formed in Lower Hell, New Zealand in 2004. The trio consisting of Campbell Kneale (Birchville Cat Motel), James Kirk and Jules Desmond have been referred to by heavy metal glitterati such as Terrorizer magazine as the heaviest band on earth. Compiling two totally out-of-print CD/CDR releases, Eternal Love/Eternal Hunger comes pressed on black vinyl in a black and metallic silver ink sleeve, limited to 500 only for the world." - Riot Season.

Artist: BLACK BONED ANGEL
Title: Verdun
Format: LP
Label: Riot Season
Country: UK
Price: $18.00
"Black Boned Angel return with their second Riot Season release, following the Eternal Love/Eternal Hunger vinyl LP (REPOSE 013LP). Sharing a similarly bleak ground to Corrupted, Sunn 0))) and Earth, New Zealands Black Boned Angel return with their fourth full length album Verdun, and perhaps their most sombre and fully-realized work to date. The Battle of Verdun was fought between the German and French armies, and was one of the critical battles during World War 1 on the Western Front. It resulted in more than a quarter of a million battlefield deaths and at least half a million wounded. Verdun was the longest battle and one of the most devastating in World War 1 and indeed in history. Over the course of 50 minutes, BBA soundtrack that brutal conflict with their trademark dark ambient drones and doom-laden riffs. The CD version of this release contains an exclusive extra piece entitled Tears Strike The Mile High Gong and comes in a card gatefold sleeve (1000 copies only)." -Riot Season

Artist: CIRCLE
Title: Empire
Format: LP
Label: Riot Season
Country: UK
Price: $18.00
"Not many bands continue to amaze with each new release these days, but Finnish legends Circle are an exception to the rule. The masters of the hypnotic riff return with a very limited vinyl only release called Empire containing two long tracks called Dragon & Empire. The album was recorded live earlier this year in Porvoo, Finland but youd never know it was a live record as there is so much stuff going on its mind-boggling, not to mention the production is superb. Dragon sounds like Can jamming with Sunburned Hand Of The Man whilst Empire sounds like the take-a-riff and beat it into submission Circle we already know and love. This release is vinyl only and limited to 750 copies for the world."

Artist: CULVER-COURTIS
Title: s/t
Format: LP
Label: Riot Season
Country: UK
Price: $18.00
"Limited edition, untitled 500 only clear vinyl LP by drone / experimental duo Culver-Courtis. This is a collaboration between Anla Courtis of Reynols (Argentina) and Lee Stokoe aka Culver (England). The album is based around beautiful hypnotic drones, kind of avant-garde and kind of calming at the same time. Slightly similar in style to some of Makoto Kawabatas solo work perhaps. Although there are only four songs on the record, it clocks in at near 50 minutes. The LP is a completely remastered reissue of a previous cassette only self release. For fans of : Makoto Kawabata, Sunn o))), Reynols."

Artist: EARLY MAMMAL
Title: Take A Lover
Format: LP
Label: Riot Season
Country: UK
Price: $28.00
"Early Mammal are a three-piece based in the home of South London sludge, Dropout Studios. Formed in 2012, Early Mammal are Rob Herian: guitar, drone box, vocals; Ben Davis: drums; and Ben Tat: bass and baritone guitars. The band released two well-received albums in 2013. Horror at Pleasure, their debut, was released in April of that year on Devouter, and features Denis Belindir providing cosmos-expanding synth on its dark, brooding invitation through the woods of the mind. As with all of their works to date, it was recorded live at Dropout over the course of three days. Horror at Pleasure combines raw power and claustrophobic psych blues, coaxing and sometimes dragging the listener through its journey. Influences from Captain Beefheart, Aphrodites Child, White Hills, Hawkwind, and Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats can be heard. Less than half a year later, the band released My Fire on Convoy Records. This album found Dan Davies (Wolf People) joining to record a more experimental late-night driving experience through psych-rock, with Belindirs distinctive Turkish-tinged synth really taking the trip to different levels. These releases led to the band supporting Bong and performing at Baba Yagas Hut gigs around London, including the Raw Power Festival 2014. After Belindirs sudden departure, the band regrouped with a reinvigorated sound. Taking the experimentation of My Fire and the narcotic muscularity of Horror at Pleasure, this album represents a new chapter of greater depth. With the arrival of Ben Tat on bass and baritone guitars, the band shares two common ancestors now: Elks and 85 Bears. Take a Lover reflects the sound of a lineup finding order through the entropy of extended jams and developing their sound. Recorded at Dropout Studios by the band. Take a Lover is live and captures a stream of single takes from two days of winter, December 2014. It has become the catalyst for more prolific recording and sets the tone for where Early Mammal are going next." - Riot Season.

Artist: GUNSLINGERS
Title: Massacre-Rock Deviant Inquisitors
Format: 12"
Label: Riot Season
Country: UK
Price: $20.00
"Co-released with French label Les Disques Blasphematoires Du Palatin. A new vinyl-only release by cult French band Gunslingers (a trio featuring prolific guitar guru GR and Antoine & Matthieu of Aluk Todolo on drums and bass, respectively). The 12"/EP is called Massacre-Rock Deviant Inquisitors and comes as a one-sided white vinyl 12" inside a heavy card sleeve. Pressed from lacquers for extra sonic excellence and cut loud. Another dose of bizarre psychedelic garage-rock as only they know how." -Riot Season.

Artist: KHUNNT
Title: Failures
Format: LP + CD
Label: Riot Season
Country: UK
Price: $25.00
"Since 2006, Khünnt have fervently explored the boundaries of esoteric music, from minimalist noise, cack-rock and ESP screams to live improvisation, fog-beat and psychedelic city mantra. Khünnt is: John-Michael Hedley - Bass Guitar; Matthew Baty - Drums; Adam Ian Sykes, Richard Dawson, Sam Grant - Guitar; Stephen Palmer - Vocals, Synth. Members of Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs, Blown Out & Richard Dawson. To celebrate their 10 year anniversary, Khünnt present new material on Riot Season titled Failures. Failures will be accompanied by a CD compilation of the bands entire blighted back catalogue titled Past, Present & Future. Failures is a one track, near 40-minute hypnotic passage split over two parts for a 12" vinyl release. For the most part the album is less aggravated and more smoked out than Khünnts previous output but be warned, it is no less intense. The album masterfully exploits repetition and dynamic to the point of overload, before collapsing into raw, feral carnage. The performance of Failures was expertly captured, mixed and mastered by Sam Grant (Bong - Stoner Rock (RITE 024LP, RITE 025CD), Haikai No Ku - Ultra High Dimensionality (BOXREC 006LP)) at Blank Studios, Newcastle. Edition of 150. On 140 gram black vinyl. Housed in 350gsm thick card sleeve. Includes download code." - Riot Season.

Artist: MAINLINER
Title: Mellow Out
Format: LP
Label: Riot Season
Country: UK
Price: $28.00
"Mellow Out is, perhaps, THE classic Japanese underground album. Since it was first released in 1996 on the now-defunct Charnel Music label, its legend has grown and grown, and is still talked about by lovers of all things loud, noisy, and Japanese as the definitive Japanese noise-rock statement. Upon release it was instantly dubbed "the pinnacle of achievement for guitar-driven, brain-crushing madness," and with good reason. Rarely has an album contained such fierce/brutal battering, and speaker-shredding, in-the-red levels. Mainliner were a Japanese trio consisting of Asahito Nanjo (High Rise), Makoto Kawabata(Acid Mothers Temple), and Hajime Koizumi. Originally released on CD back in 96 on Charnel, the pressing quickly disappeared and had been unavailable until Riot Season re-released it in 2003 in a limited CD and vinyl run, both of which sold out quickly. With the 2013 rebirth of Mainliner, now dubbed Kawabata Makotos Mainliner, the time felt right for a re-release of the much sought-after vinyl. So here it is, on the back of excellent press on their Revelation Space (REPOSE 036CD/LP) comeback album. This vinyl pressing is limited to 500 copies for the world and comes in two (250 of each) translucent colored vinyl editions. The music has been remastered and the sleeve artwork has been tweaked from the original vinyl pressing, too -- now with 350gsm card sleeve with metallic silver ink print." - Riot Season. Highly recommended!

Artist: MAKOTO, ANLA COURTIS & ROKUGENKIN, KAWABATA
Title: Kokura
Format: LP
Label: Riot Season
Country: UK
Price: $18.00
"Kokura is the fruit of a collaboration between Acid Mothers Temple/Mainliner main man Kawabata Makoto, Argentinian guitarist Anla Courtis (Reynols) and Japanese underground musician Rokugenkin. Based around hushed, mellow guitar drones and hypnotic, yet restrained guitar wails, Kokura captures the sound of life beneath a hurricane. Like Sunn O))) on half volume!"  - Riot Season.

Artist: MAKOTOS MAINLINER, KAWABATA
Title: Revelation Space
Format: CD
Label: Riot Season
Country: UK
Price: $18.00
"One of the most celebrated Japanese underground bands have returned. It may have taken over 12 years, but Kawabata Makoto, guitar guru and head honcho in Acid Mothers Temple, has finally decided to get his celebrated "psychedelic solid free attack group" back together. Joining original Mainliner members Kawabata Makoto (motorpsycho guitar) and Koji Shimura (drums) is new recruit Kawabe Taigen (bass/vocals) and the trio still kick up one hell of a sonic racket. Confusion surrounds the exact details of the recording, but they seem to date from December 2011, and from Kawabatas mountain-top temple studio-cum-home. The man himself, as always, is shying away from sharing too many of the magick details about the Mainliner rebirth. And the stark, minimal black-with-gold sleeve keeps the mystery intact, apart from the grainy band photo on the rear. All said, Revelation Space is a comeback statement of intent. And its firmly in the same in-the-red/raw camp as the original trios classic Mellow Out. From the initial speaker-shaking feedback burst of opener "Revelation Space," right through to the closing 20-minute epic "New Sun" (which showcases Taigens otherworldly howl perfectly) there is no let-up in the brutal delivery. This will no doubt delight those Mainliner diehards who never thought theyd see the day again, and all those with a love of guitar howls and punishing feedback levels, but always underpinned by some righteous grooves." -Riot Season.

Artist: SHIT AND SHINE
Title: 229-2299 Girls Against Shit
Format: Double LP
Label: Riot Season
Country: UK
Price: $18.00
"Gatefold 2LP version, limited to 500 copies. Shit And Shine return with their fourth Riot Season album -- following Youre Lucky To Have Friends Like Us (REPOSELP04), Jealous Of Shit And Shine (REPOSECD011) and last years acclaimed Cherry (REPOSECD017X/LP017) -- after a link-up with the Load Records stable for their last release. Continuing in their usual Riot Season style, what we have on offer here is the bizarre, the puzzling and the downright groovy. The epic, drawn-out single-riff jams that make up their legendary live shows are replaced by their trademark off-the-wall lunacy, making for a fun-packed adventure akin to biking trips with friends, and the local mental as a child. 229-2299 Girls Against Shit could be the soundtrack to that summer, the beating of rats with sticks, the shooting of girls with gat guns, swimming in the rancid cut and the discovering of dead dogs and maggots. Ah, those were the days my friend." -Riot Season

Title: Cherry
Format: CD/DVD
Label: Riot Season
Country: UK
Price: $19.00
"Now available as Limited edition CD & DVD pressing, 1000 copies for the world. Bonus DVD features a pro-shot 35 minute performance recorded for last.fm in London November 2007. What the press have said about Cherry so far: The kind of deranged collage that damaged psychedelic warriors like The Butthole Surfers or Bongwater used to come up with. Its an album that defies any kind of neat summation. Immense! --The Wire. Not since Royal Trux and Twin Infinitives has any band released an album as recklessly inventive and sadistically fun as this greasy double helping. --Rock-A-Rolla; Absurdist, addictive, obnoxious and usurped by a general air of alcoholic wrongdoing, feral psychosis and unsettling malice. A murkier, down-the-pub Locust Abortion Technician for a 21st century world hurtling ever closer to bloody-minded oblivion. --Terrorizer."-Riot Season

Price: $23.00
"SHIT AND SHINE isnt a band, its a state of mind. Theyre an afternoon spent tearing up betting-slips at the bookies. A stain on your shirt that wont wash out. Shit and Shine refuse to be categorized, commodified or caught with their trousers down. Theyre a blurred snapshot of bi-polar Britain, camera-phone footage of a nation thats slowly swallowing itself whole, one mouthful at a time. Theyre a requiem for back-street cafes and grubby little places that now only exist in our memory or in back-issues of Savage Messiah magazine. Theyre a brittle, defiantly distorted soundtrack to our own cultural demise: time at the bar, gentlemen, please! Limited edition of 500 copies packaged in suitably garish sleeves. Title: Jealous of Shit and Shine
Format: LP
Label: Riot Season
Country: UK
Price: $28.00
"Long overdue vinyl release of Shit and Shines second album, Jealous of Shit and Shine originally released by Riot Season on CD only in 2006. Back when Shit and Shine were just a mere two-piece with a wicked sense of humor and a lawnmower, Jealous of Shit and Shine came out and knocked folks bandy. The original CD didnt last long and was never repressed, and since then Craig Clouse has been badgering Riot Season to give it a vinyl release. So here it is, in (almost) all of its original fucked-up glory. The audio has been tweaked a little to make it more vinyl-friendly by the man himself in his Texas bunker, but its still a completely messed-up brain-fuck of an album. The kind only two men and a lawnmower can make. Split into two parts, side A is the live favorite "Practicing to Be a Doctor," almost 24 minutes of pounding tribal drums and a ridiculously addictive bassline that just rolls on and on... if you never saw them do this live with anything up to 30 drummers you missed out big-time. Maybe theyll bust it out again one day. Side B features the more wacky/noise/avant-garde side of Shit and Shine. Chaotic, distorted blasts; mesmeric chuntering; tortured guitars and drums disguised as seven tracks. Absolutely fucking delightful, and absolutely like nobody else out there. 100% Shit and Shine. Its no wonder folks were jealous. NME listed Jealous of Shit and Shine at #89 in their "100 Lost Albums You Need to Know" feature, for which Jeremy Pritchard of Everything Everything wrote, " I love Jealous of Shit and Shine the same way I love everything they do; the utter wretchedness coupled with humour; the surprising depth of what could seem initially like a one-dimensional sound; the cast iron but utterly uncontrived absolutely-dont-give-a-fuck-about-what-you-think-ness that it exudes. Although it sounds really abrasive, some song titles and the artwork spell out their playful streak pretty clearly." Summed up well. Neon pink LP housed in PVC sleeve sealed with sticker. Includes download code. Limited edition of 300. One-off pressing; no repress." - Riot Season.

Title: Teardrops
Format: LP
Label: Riot Season
Country: UK
Price: $28.00
“Shit And Shine, aka Craig Clouse, presents his sixth album for Riot Season, Teardrops. Since the release of the first Shit And Shine album Youre Lucky To Have Friends Like Us in 2004, Shit and Shine have released approximately fifteen more albums, with at least the same amount of EPs and played fuck knows how many amazing shows across the world. Throughout this, Shit And Shine continue to shift genres with ease, never wanting to become predictable, Clouse rarely opts for the safe option, in fact he never does. Recent times have seen him receive glowing praise for his more electronic work on labels such as Editions Mego, Rocket Recordings and Diagonal. So what does Clouse do next? He knocks out a grind-core album of course. Teardrops kills any notion of you knowing what hell do next stone dead. Its a battle scarred middle digit to the world, a full force fuck you guitar overload and itll ruin your weekend. White vinyl housed in 350 GSM printed card sleeve with black inner sleeve. Edition of 500.” - Riot Season.
