Artist: DRUM CIRCUS
Title: Magic Theatre
Format: LP
Label: Garden of Delights
Country: Germany
Price: $25.00
"...rare album by Swiss band, featuring two members of Brainticket including their leader Joel Van Droogenbroec; truly insane psychedelic music with LSD drenched lyrics by Timothy Leary; first released in 1971. "Founder and leader of Drum Circus was master drummer Peter Giger, “a giant on drums”, as the newspaper “Rhein-Main-Zeitung” called him. He was joined by two additional drummers, as well as by Joel Vandroogenbroeck and Carole Muriel, both from Brainticket. Therefore, its not surprising that “Magic theatre”, with its LSD-dripping lyrics (partly written by Timothy Leary, partly influenced by The Tibetan Book of the Dead), is a lot like early Brainticket. “Magic theatre” was recorded in the excellent studio of Horst Jankowski in Stuttgart. Yet, it remained unreleased. Shortly before his death, Horst Jankowski gave the tapes to Peter Giger." - Garden Of Delights.

Artist: EJWUUSL WESSAHYQQAN
Title: s/t
Format: CD
Label: Garden of Delights
Country: Germany
Price: $24.00
"1996 CD reissue of this German album, originally issued as a private press by the band in 1975. Named after a book by Clark Ashton Smith, the concept of pronouncing their name is an acquired taste. Much easier is listening to their music, and odd and primitive mixture of mid-70s underground styles. This CD is from master tapes, with 4 bonus tracks. "Ejwuusl Wessahqqan were a Munich band acquainted with Amon Düül II whose style is vary similar to theirs. Firmly structured songs were the exception amongst broad improvisations combining spontaneous musical ideas. A special characteristic of their style is the absence of vocals and guitar which was replaced by the self-made seven string filouphone. The highlight of the CD is the outstanding, highly psychedelic bonus track The Crystal by the follow-up band Koala-Bär." - Garden of Delights.

Artist: EPIDAURUS
Title: Earthly Paradise
Format: LP
Label: Garden of Delights
Country: Germany
Price: $33.00
"Symphonic rock at its best. With lots of Mellotron, keyboards, and a good female singer. From the master tapes. A bestseller. With large-format 4-page insert. Limited 1000 hand-numbered LPs." -Garden of Delights

Artist: EPIDAURUS
Title: Earthly Paradise
Format: LP
Label: Garden of Delights
Country: Germany
Price: $25.00
"...obscure 1977 album from German band Epidaurus is a treat for fans of acoustic and electric keyboard instruments. There are two keyboard players: Gunther Henne (Hammond C3 organ, mellotron, mini-moog, polymoog; clavinet D6, and Fender Rhodes electric piano); and Gerd Linke (Hammond C3 organ, mellotron, mini-moog, 12-string acoustic guitar; clavinet D6, grand piano and Fender Rhodes electric piano). They layer spacey synthesizers and churchy sounding Hammond pads plastered throughout (think Tony Banks here). With the exception of some acoustic 12-string parts, guitars are largely absent—to drive the point home further, the keyboardists wrote all of the material. Into the mostly instrumental mix comes vocalist Christine Wand. Odd time signatures, nimble keyboard solos, very nice melodies, harmonies, and counterpoint. A Tangerine Dream electronica influence is pretty heavy on the closing track, Mitternachstraum, which would not be out of place on a Tangerine Dream or Kraftwerk album. All in all, this is another unjustly ignored prog albums. Recommended." - Garden of Delights.

Artist: GAA
Title: Auf der Bahn zum Uranus
Format: LP
Label: Garden of Delights
Country: Germany
Price: $33.00
"The Saarland band Gäa played German-language progressive rock. Their band name derives from the ancient Greek gods, where Gaia (Latin notation: Gäa) is the goddess of the earth and fertility. The groups only LP, Auf der Bahn zum Uranus, was a short run released on the Kerston label in 1974 and is today sold at about 600 euros. It is a mature and well-balanced album, the artistic value of which long remained undiscovered. The tasteful cover was designed by Eduard Bell, the brother of Gäa bassist Peter Bell. There were several re-issues of the album -- LPs as well as CDs -- but unfortunately not all of them legitimate. The LP on Garden of Delights is provided with a four-page colored insert in LP size offering a detailed band history in German and English, complete discography, label repros, many photographs, and a Kerston story." -Garden Of Delights.

Title: Alraunes Alptraum
Format: LP
Label: Garden of Delights
Country: Germany
Price: $25.00
"...from the German state of Saarland, Gäa have become quite known in collectors circles thanks to their legendary space rock LP "Auf der Bahn zum Uranus" from 1974. In early 1975 they recorded three tracks for an unfinished second album. These simply brilliant tracks are the basis or this disc; they show how mature and inventive the band was at that time. The cover artwork is again by Eduard Bell and shows the Alruna, a legendary earth spirit from Germanic mythology and a rough counterpart to Gäa, the ancient Greek goddess of the Earth." - Garden of Delights.

"Reissue of extremely rare and desired album (Kerston, 1974), and with good reason—tripped out mostly instrumental cosmic Krautrock with amazing guitar solos, spacey keyboards in a Pink Floyd vein; enigmatic lyrics on the non-instrumental tracks; in the immortal words of Crack in the Cosmic Egg: “a magical album, a Krautrock classic!”"- Garden of Delights.

Title: Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee
Format: LP
Label: Garden of Delights
Country: Germany
Price: $24.00
"...their second amazing album still has Conny Veit, but now with a new line up that included Florian Fricke of POPOL VUH; tightly arranged concept album dealing with the oppression suffered by the North American Indian population— features three American Indian lyrics (translated into English); released in 1973 on WEA/Warner Bros. One of the pinnacles of Krautrock." - Garden of Delights.

Artist: KALACAKRA
Title: Crawling To Lhasa
Format: LP
Label: Garden of Delights
Country: Germany
Price: $33.00
"A psychedelic jewel from Duisburg. The first legitimate LP reissue. Comes in deluxe gatefold cover. With (large-format) four-page insert. Strictly limited to 1000 hand-numbered LPs." -Garden of Delights "A psychedelic jewel from Duisburg. The first legitimate LP reissue. Comes in deluxe gatefold cover. With (large-format) four-page insert. Strictly limited to 1000 hand-numbered LPs."  "Their music combined various folk and Eastern influences, slightly hinting at the Third Ear Band and Popol Vuh, but closest to Clark-Hutchinson on their album A=MH2. Kalacakras blend of mantras, blues, folk and stoned psychedelia gained Crawling To Lhasa a well deserved curiosity value, yet they were an altogether more eclectic and strange band than any of their possible mentors." -The Crack In The Cosmic Egg

Artist: SIDDHARTHA
Title: Weltschmerz
Format: LP
Label: Garden of Delights
Country: Germany
Price: $33.00
"Siddhartha were formed in 1973 in Korntal near Stuttgart. They were named named after a novel by Hermann Hesse. They performed an intelligent mixture of progressive and art rock influenced by psychedelia and folk. Although their 1975 album is called Weltschmerz, all songs have English lyrics apart from Weit weg. It was released in a limited edition of 400 copies and is one of the most sought after collectors items. However, copies have always been hard to find. A 30 minute demo tape of Siddhartha which was recorded after the release of their album has disappeared. This vinyl re-issue on Garden of Delights comes with the original cover artwork and has a four-page insert in LP size." - Garden of Delights.

Artist: SILOAH
Title: s/t
Format: CD
Label: Garden of Delights
Country: Germany
Price: $24.00
“Legit issue of this fabulous German folk-stoner, originally privately pressed LP in 1970. We used to carry this on the now (thankfully) defunct and rather outrageously priced Lost Pipe Dreams label (one of the most nightmarishly-plagued operations weve ever had the "pleasure" of dealing with, and thats saying something) but this new version adds legitimate master tape sound, 2 bonus tracks (from the extremely rare Release compilation as well as their 7" -- of which only 1 copy was made!), and a full booklet of notes and photos. Siloah were Manuel (percussions, tambourine), Tiny (vocals, shinai), Thom, (acoustic guitar, 12-string guitar, vocals) and Wolfgang (bass). The track listing is classic and worth repeating: "Yellow Puppets Hanging In The Sky," "Krishnas Golden Dope Shop," "Road To Laramy," "Acid Eagle," "Aluminum Wind," & "Pink Puppets Hanging In The Sky". Devastatingly loose and vibed up, the two Siloah albums are amongst the most cracked of all early 70s German output (their 2nd, Sukram Gurk is coming soon). Psychedelic commune folk doesnt get any better than this and its great to have these back in these new, superior editions.” - Forced Exposure.

"The second and last one by the Munich underground band, this time with keyboards and more professional. From the master tapes." - Garden of Delights. “New reissue of the 2nd and final Siloah album, originally released in 1972. As with the debut album, this was previously reissued by the now defunct Lost Pipe Dreams label, now in more superior form -- from master tapes with 1 bonus track. Very loose, tripped-out feel with Can-like atmospheres at times. The absolute finest in early 70s flowing psychedelics and an essential document of the era.” - Forced Exposure.

"A rather organ-oriented record -- the keyboardist being a real achiever. The work is characterized by its long instrumental passages. There is unfortunately a certain audible tape noise -- the studio then left a lot to be desired. The band was founded in Speyer on the Upper Rhine in 1969 and released only this single LP. In 1972 all of 200 copies were produced, half of which were destroyed during a fire in the music store Markus. The original in mint condition is today thus traded at about 2,000 euros. Therefore, the record is -- together with the Langsyne LP and the first edition of Cans Monster Movie -- one of the three most expensive collectors items in the field of Deutschrock. The new edition has been limited to 1,000 LPs. It is numbered individually, has been released in the original gatefold cover, and contains a four-page insert in LP size." - Garden of Delights.
