Title: Aspirations
Format: LP
Label: Rocknroll Blitzkrieg
Country: USA
Price: $14.00
"Just over 30 years after its original release, the classic Australian punk LP X-Aspirations is is finally back in print on vinyl! Originally recorded in 1979 and released in 1980, LOBBY LOYDE (Coloured Balls) produced this album in a blistering 5 hour session. To say its a raw, tough album would be a gross understatement. STEVE LUCAS ragged vocals and dagger-sharp guitar work with rhythm section in a way that makes you feel like youre getting worked over like a sorry punching bag. Over the past 30 years, as three of the four original members have died, X has carved a niche for themselves as one of those rare bands who truly sound like no other. And in the process, X-Aspirations has become a belated bonafide punk cult classic. On tour now." - Rocknroll Blitzkrieg.

Title: Dream Machine
Format: LP
Label: Dark Entries
Country: USA
Price: $18.00
"X RAY POP are the synth-pop duo of DOC PILOT and ZOUKA DZAZA from Tours, France. They got their start in the no wave art group BOCAL 5 in 1981 and split off in 1984 to focus on their own brand of quirky synthesized electronics. Influenced by Erik Satie, Brigitte Bardot, Suicide and Young Marble Giants, they call their music "minimum naive new wave." Armed with a Casio PT-20 keyboard and a rudimentary Yamaha MR10 drum machine they recorded their demo cassette and first 7-inch "Eurasienne / La Machine à Rêver" in 1984. Upgrading their synthesizers and adding some saxophone and guitar, they recorded the "Alcool / Amazone" 7-inch in 1985 and the  "DS / El Gato" 7-inch in 1986.The Dream Machine collects X Ray Pops first three 7-inch singles plus eight songs from their demo cassette, never released on vinyl before. Their songs are short, concise and well structured; richly textured, moving at a quick speed with hardly a pause. The demos show a sense of humor, vitality and carefree playfulness.  Zoukas pouting, tongue-in-cheek vocals (sung in French) come together for a catchy, sensuous, danceable, eccentric psychedelic ride. Reminiscent of the Mo-dettes, early OMD or Algebra Suicide, X Ray Pop could be the missing link to Stereolab. All songs have been remastered for vinyl by George Horn at Fantasy Studios in Berkeley directly from the original master tapes. Each LP comes in a neon yellow jacket with an 8-page booklet full of unreleased photos, original artwork and lyrics. 28 years later, this is the first time since the original issue that the songs of X RAY POP are reappearing on vinyl again, but is the world ready?" - Dark Entries

Title: Desertshore/The Final Report
Format: Double CD
Label: Industrial
Country: UK
Price: $24.00
"Industrial Records presents the much-anticipated two album release Desertshore/The Final Report, a unique collaboration by Chris Carter, Peter "Sleazy" Christopherson, and Cosey Fanni Tutti. This is a two album release celebrating both the progress inherent in change and the fulfillment of two exceptional, yet separate projects. The Desertshore project is a "re-imagined" cover version of Nicos seminal 1970 album, first conceived by the late Peter "Sleazy" Christopherson in Berlin in 2006. In 2010 at his home in Bangkok, he refocused his approach, readying to record guest vocalists while Chris and Cosey prepared material in their UK studio for his return there in December. Sadly, Sleazy unexpectedly died in his sleep on the 25th of November in Bangkok. Chris and Cosey made a commitment to Sleazy to complete the Desertshore project picking up from where they left off just prior to his untimely passing. With enthusiastic support and contributions from so many who were close to Sleazy, especially the guest artists whose work he admired: Antony, Marc Almond, Blixa Bargeld, Sasha Grey, and Gaspar Noé. Throughout their 36 year friendship, Carter, Christopherson, and Cosey Fanni Tutti produced many pioneering and acclaimed collaborative works together. These trio sessions were without exception always very productive; ideas that produced many hours of recordings, sound experiments, research in new performance possibilities, visuals, the ongoing design and building of new and innovative instruments; a constant restless exploration of new paths together. The Final Report album was completed from their final 2009/2010 sessions together at Chris and Coseys studio in Norfolk. This album stands as the final report: a celebration, a loving remembrance of their unique partnership. Industrial Records Ltd. is proud to release these two extraordinary recordings together. The CD edition comes with a 12-page booklet, a postcard, and one bonus track, housed in a oversized, spot-gloss printed trifold slipcase with 12-page booklet of notes and photos." - Industrial.

Title: Cataracts
Format: LP
Label: Ecstatic Peace
Country: USA
Price: $13.00
"Debut vinyl release by the Western Massachusetts drone/scrape trio of Bill Nace, John Truscinski and Jake Meginsky. These guys have developed into one of the most soul-glowing sound/improv units out there today. And we mean out there ?? sparkling shards of guitar/amp/file machinations dance and intercede with rolling thundercloud dreamdrum dramatics. Nace you know from his killer duo throwdowns with Chris Corsano as Vampire Belt as well as the more recent weirdness with Dylan Nyoukis and Karen Lollypop as Ceylon Mange and in duo with Thurston Moore as Northampton Wools. Truscinski and Meginsky are the fine gentleman whove recorded as Slaughterhouse Percussion, Meginsky a student of and research assistant to Milford Graves at Bennington College. 500 copies." - Ecstatic Peace.

"The trio of Bill Nace, John Truscinski and Jake Meginsky deliver their fourth spars, spaced scratched and creeped record, after their debut CD-R on Audiobot, an amazing tape on Bills own imprint Open Mouth and an LP on Ecstatic Peace!. although this band uses only two guitars and percussion, theyve built up a paradise of tension between instruments that by far dont sound like youd think theyd sound. It does sound like someone is pulling your veins gently, softly focused on not really hurting you but having Chinese torture in the back of your brain. A no-named peasant would guess this music was made by an old dog collecting thousands of little pieces of metal, knowing exactly what they would sound like if u rub them onto another miked metal closet or a circuit-bent old wooden clock. Sensitive guitar molesting is never far away. This record comes in a collaged cover design by Dennis Tyfus, limited to 500 copies." - Ultra Eczema.

"On the wall a shadow of a beast with two backs, for starters X.0.4 is the team of Bill Nace and John Truscinski. For a duo X.0.4 create a devastating reckless vision that exceeds the sum of their parts. They strike a balance between other worldly navigation and dynamic gravity, launching off into a sweaty circle-pit of blastbeats and dizzying vocal frenzies. Spastic deep-space horror that gives you instant goose-bumps. Suddenly curiosity kills the cat, and sore throats make place for atmospheric flare stretched out into, almost Cage-like compositions in a high octane display of molten bells and percussion. Another utterly unpredictable injection of sonic terror tactics. Hoods up... The Audiobot rampage continues. By the time its over youll be wondering if someone just took a piss in your beer. Packaged in massive silkscreened fold-out 7" covers by Jelle Crama. Limited edition of only 150 copies..." - Audiobot.

Title: GRM Works 1957-1962
Format: LP
Label: Recollection GRM
Country: Austria
Price: $23.00
"Recollection GRM assembles Greek experimental composer Iannis Xenakis works for Groupe de Recherches Musicales circa 1957-1962. "Concret PH" (1958) was assembled for the Brussels World Fair. The industrialist Philips commissioned Le Corbusiers famous "Philips Pavilion": "Ill create an electronic poem for you, he said. Everything will happen inside: sound, light, color, and rhythm." Iannis Xenakis designed the architectural blueprint and composed "Concret PH" meant to psychologically prepare the public for the show created inside, accompanied by a musical piece by Edgard Varèse. The 400 speakers that lined the inner shell were meant to fill the space through the sound sparkles of "Concret PH" and achieve a joint emanation of architecture and music, conceived as a whole: the roughness of the concrete and its internal friction coefficient found an echo in the timbre of the sparkles. "Orient-Occident" (1960) was originally composed for a film by Enrico Fulchignoni for UNESCO. The film describes a visit to the museum comparing artifacts produced by various cultures and highlighting their interaction, dating back to ancient times. From an abstract point of view, the composer regards this work as a solution to the problem of finding highly diversified means of transition, meant to link a type of material to another. One indeed witnesses a varied gradation of mutations, interplays, overlaps, cross-fading, sudden shifts, and hidden junction points. "Diamorphoses" (1957-1958) portrays continuity and discontinuity within evolution. Here are two aspects of being, whether in opposition or in communion. In "Diamorphoses" this antithesis was illustrated sections of sound strongly opposed to others, and particularly in organizations of continuous variations of average or "statistical" heights. "Bohor" (1962): Bohor (referring to Bors the Younger, Lancelots cousin), is a character from the medieval cycle of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. "Bohor" is dedicated to Pierre Schaeffer. The author deliberately abstained from giving any descriptive information on his piece, letting the listener choose an imaginary route for himself. This release presents the 1968 version, revised by Iannis Xenakis himself and as yet not made available to the public. "Even though Iannis Xenakis never made musique concrète in the sense given by Pierre Schaeffer, the GRM was a locus for experimenting with his ideas about sound and sound structures. These works, composed between 1958 and 1962, show a boldness as advanced as in his orchestral approach. The relationship between Xenakis and Schaeffer was often tense. It nevertheless entailed mutual recognition and respect towards each others musical approach. Schaeffer found the piece disproportionate in terms of intensity but was indeed pleased by the dedication. The four pieces presented here, all produced at the GRM, undoubtedly demonstrate the experimental intent and the strictly physical character of Xenakis music, in that it provides the audience with a listening experience of a rare intensity." --François Bonnet & Christian Zanési; Cut by Rashad Becker at Dubplates & Mastering, Berlin, January 2013. Layout by Stephen OMalley. Executive Production by Peter Rehberg." - Recollection GRM.

Label: Memoirs Of An Aesthete
Country: UK
Price: $12.00
"There is another longhaired droning Yorkshire citizen named Phil. The Memoirs "search and co-opt" policy ensures that we have to take action. So: this. Mr. Phil Legard has the debonair aura of Marc Bolan-meets-Tony Visconti circa early 68, and his music is similarly patterned after the more disorientating artifacts from the original Age Of Aquarius. Desolate folk plunkings, Krishna-on-a-vacation flute and a real melancholic lost-in-the-forest ayr of mysterie makes this a July winner. One for retiring to your alchemists laboratory-in-the-woods with a few test-tubes full of absinthe to. Do something real decadent like that, anyway. Five English pounds." - Memoirs Of An Aesthete.

"The Xenis Emputae Travelling Band is Mr. Phil Legard of the halloweed borough of Yorkshire, England. He has been hard at work since 2001 making psychedelic folk-concrete inspired by the psychogeography and mythology of various secret regions of the British countryside. XETB has released plenty of CDRs and tapes over the years (all limited editions, long sold out etc etc) but, aside from one track on a Cold Spring Records CD, nothing at all in a "posh" format - something we at Memoirs thought we should do something about. We are, after all, classy folks and that. Mr. Legard is also a writer on various occult and esoteric matters, his most recent publication being a contribution to the new translation of "The Consecrated Little Book Of Black Venus" (Waning Moon Publications). He also has several other music projects, most notably The Neon Death Slittes and Pneumonic Consort. He is also, for his many sins, a frequent collaborator in Ashtray Navigations. "The Pyrognomic Glass" was originally released by us as a ltd. ed CDR back in 2005. By popular demand it is back, this time on vinyl, and including "Abital -  or Conferences with the Genii of Nocturnal and Diurnal Dew in vii Chapters", a beautifully-printed 28 page chapbook by Mr Legard, most profitable to students of Natural Philosophy." -Memoirs Of An Aesthete

Title: Sentinelle
Format: CD
Label: Wierd
Country: USA
Price: $10.00
"The long-awaited full-length debut album from Xeno & Oaklander is now available! Functioning as the absolute core of the electronic wing of the Wierd world since their beginnings in 2004, Miss Liz Wendelbo and Sean McBride here present a carefully composed, restrained and complex form of moody electronic pop music that is simultaneously romantically melancholic and affirmatively aggressive. Recorded entirely live in the studio with exclusively analogue instruments, Sentinelle situates itself as a series of highly crafted cinematic vignettes which takes as its vantage point a fictitious era in a long-passed distant age: a time of wandering desert travelers, forgotten underwater cities, and exquisitely sculptural objects; of arid land, sea-farers and ferrymen, blinding light and lonely rooms, precious metals and poisonous corrosion. Themes of paranoia and disaffection associated with the transformation felt during the industrial revolution(a stand-in for our contemporary digital malaise), as well as odes to the many gifts of its legacy - motion pictures, cameras, synthesizers, and voltage control, are traversed throughout the epic journey of this minimal electronic masterpiece, allowing the listener to gaze out of the frozen cold window onto the many radical paradigm shifts of the twentieth century, and is a true sonic portrait of this eminently fragile era in transition." -Wierd

Title: Sets & Lights
Format: CD
Label: Wierd
Country: USA
Price: $10.00
"A portrait emerges in the video for the lead single from XENO & OAKLANDERs Sets & Lights: one of two separate yet unmistakably intertwined individuals. LIZ WENDELBO  gracefully ascends and descends a menacing staircase while SEAN MCBRIDE stands patiently in the ambiguous, blurred distance. The time is warped, the architecture is unfriendly, and the relationship between both people and their physical environment is made anxiously questionable. And yet, dominating the proceedings is an air of exoticism and pervasive sensuality in the face of what feels like an impending violent event. The collision of these tensions, atmospheres, and personas is soundtracked on this latest offering from Wierd Records. Xeno & Oaklander create a universe where technology is beautifully timeless, where electricity pulses with vigor and effortless finesse. The standard meaning of "ghosts of technology," with its equally standard images of looming architecture and lifeless shells of machines, is rendered obsolete. Nimble electronic melodies sing, stretch and glow like elegant apparitions. Grandiosity and restraint live harmoniously side-byside, just as the dual vocals of McBride and Wendelbo weave in and out of one another, sometimes an isolated croon and sometimes a layered texture. The interplay between McBride and Wendelbo yields very little that is conventional, but quite a lot thats alluring. Theirs is an enigmatic combination of various sensibilities that nevertheless produces a singularly focused vision. McBride sings, "the theater, the stage, the sets the lights, masking some grand delight." This is a record that makes the most of the power of electronic instruments to set a scene, to evoke intrigue, and to invite the mind to wander into those shadowy places where grand delights hide." - Wierd.

Title: Vigils
Format: LP
Label: Wierd
Country: USA
Price: $14.00
"Wierd Records is proud to announce the release of a vinyl edition of Xeno & Oaklanders Vigils EP, originally self-released by the band as a limited edition CDR in 2006, here remastered with a previously unavailable bonus track. Merging the cold, cinematic aesthetics of artist Liz Wendelbo with the architectural exactitude of Sean McBride (a.k.a. Martial Canterel), Xeno & Oaklander have been the sharpest spearheads of twenty-first-century minimal synth since their formation in 2004. Using analogue synthesizers and instruments exclusively, the duo record all of their songs live in the studio, a challenge to the common practice of cut and paste recording where immediacy is often sacrificed in favor of a far-removed drag and drop electronic pop. Recorded in one continuous take on October 1st, 2006, and played to loving death by all of the DJs at the weekly Wierd party for the past four years, Vigils has long been a cornerstone and inspiration to a new young generation of electronic bands in the Brooklyn synth scene and beyond. Uptempo, echo-laden synthesizers and drum machines provide a spacious backdrop for Miss Lizs ephemeral vocal presence. Their melodic, mournful oeuvre is an invocation of a lost future that was abandoned years ago in favor of something less human. These 8 tracks are both fragile and psychedelic, suggesting an electronic equivalent of the British shoegaze bands while maintaining the wildly aggressive stripped-down, raw and unmediated spirit of punk and the seminal industrial noise groups that informed the ideals of the original wave of European minimal electronic bands." - Wierd.

"For all the moaning Ive done over the years about growing up in a culturally detached small town in Pennsylvania though my formative years of discovering weird-ass punk and new/no wave music, the truth is simply that the most mind-boggling ideas and warped musical aesthetics sprung from these places. Amidst the sea of coked-up Cinderella wannabes who played my high school anti-drug rallies, the Kevin Cronin-of REO-produced big-fish-in-a-small-pond rock gods that walked down our streets, and the sheer overload of crapola, there were mutants who had it up to here with all of that silliness. For example: HB was a one man Magic Band who would tell stories for hours while whacking away on drums in a pierogi parlor like a cosmic Sam Ulano, The Delusions were what the Velvets coulda been in a coal mining town, and Psychatrone Rhonedakk made hobbit-like basement synth gurgle for years and years and never stepped on a stage. 100 miles from New York but not quite there, they never quite got recognized, and they sure confused a lot of locals. I sure appreciated em for merely existing in an oppressive musical locale where the towns one promoter was too busy hosting dance shows on TV where he got out of a Rolls flanked by hos and booking wheezy hair-metal reunions. xex must have been in a similar boat down in South River, New Jersey. Sporting black garb, blurting arps, and bizarro names like "Thumbalina Guglielmo" and "Waw Pierogi" (holy hell, more pierogis!) these guys represented a totally bonkers aesthetic that seems like it was taking its cues from what was being hyped in the NYC underground scene about that time: Eno, Talking Heads, etc., but in fact this music is choking under something more black, toxic, and totally Jersey. While they sang about mall rat zombies who ran around trying to catch up with fashion, they also addressed nuns and nerve gas. Musically, it sounds like it has more to do with German nuts like Grauzone and Californias zonked synth-gothers Factrix or Nervous Gender than anything else remotely in xexs radius. What gives? Tom Smith did radio shows for a while on WFMU, and was entrenched in the LP library listening to odd finds in backwards order starting at Z when he came across this lost gem. It totally blew our brains. Theres zilch about them on the web, as well (apparently not even the hip New York papers gave em a mention), and he has been threatening to reissue this baby for some time. Here tis at last. Turn up the minimal synth NJ underground!" -Brian Turner, Music/Program Director, Jersey City, WFMU.

"xex were an all-synthesizer band from South River, New Jersey who recorded their debut album group:xex in 1980. Formed when a trio of high school misfits with funny names (Waw Pierogi, Thumbalina Gugielmo and Alex Zander) teamed up with some friends from Rutgers College Performed entirely on then-state-of-the-art Arps, synths and electronic drums - no guitars anywhere - group: xex aims for the future, but comes across now like a time capsule from the deepest, darkest Reagan years. Each song burrows its way into your head with repetitive, undeniably catchy synth lines and vocal chants. "SNGA" ("Soviet Nerve Gas Attack"), "Cops" and "Delta Five" are doomy evocations of Cold War tension not far removed from very early Devo. But they were also capable of being quirky and whimsical. On "Fashion Hurts," "Svetlana" and "St. Vitus Dance," Waw and Thumbalina come across like a primitive B-52s, replacing the dance/party vibe with resignation and cynical humor. group: xex doesnt sound like its from New Jersey. It barely sounds like its from Earth. However, theres a certain residual murkiness that subliminally evokes the Central Jersey working-class suburbs. group: xex was all but forgotten until 1998, when radio DJ Tom Smith discovered it in the WFMU music library and tracked down the band members, which lead to a CD reissue in 2004 on Smack Shire Records. Just in time for the 30th anniversary of group:xex Dark Entries tracked down Waw Pierogi and restored the original master tapes with George Horn who remastered the tracks for vinyl at Fantasy Studios. Format: LP
Label: Wah Wah
Country: Spain
Price: $27.00
"The mysteriously named Xhol had already some years of experience on their back when Krautrock made its first impact. Having its roots in the late 60s rock & soul outfit Soul Caravan they eventually renamed themselves Xhol Caravan and released the crucial Electrip album on Hansa, one of the first efforts in bridging psychedelic, jazz and psychedelic styles in a really original way. Shortening their name to Xhol, they signed to the hip Ohr label where they released the live album Hau-Rauk and the mysterious archival Motherfuckers GmbH & Co Kg. Conceived as a varied collage of archive pieces, sound snippets and free extended jams, the album hints at the madness of Faust but retaining that freaky Xhol attitude. From the archetypical Radio, just some dial knob turning with takes us from the Soul Caravan days, to the cosmically tripped-out Orgelsolo and the chirps and flute exotism of Grille, this album shows Xhols more experimental side without forgetting their powerful fusion as hints of jazz, brass rock, soul and other grooves collide on the extended 13-minute Love Potion 25. An enduring testament to the talents of a band which went unrecognized too many years and which was one of the best and more inventive of the first wave of kraut rock bands. Strictly limited to 500 copies - single cover - upgraded with notes and photos courtesy of our friends at Garden Of Delights. Sealed copies w/ info sticker." - Wah Wah

German TV recordings from 1970, taken from the stations masters. Xhol Caravan were from Wiesbaden.  "In the beginning of 1969 they emerged from Soul Caravan, their predecessors.  Xhol Caravans music was a peculiar mix of jazz and psychedelia.  In 1970 they shortened their name to Xhol as to not be confused with Caravan from England. In recording their pieces for SWF (a public radio and TV station from Baden-Baden) in 1970, they were filmed playing four long songs.  The colour TV had been introduced in Germany only three years before, in 1967.  Thus, light effects were used in abundance, especially psychedelic effects.  The atmosphere Xhol Caravan created with their music, psychedelic and fraught with drugs, there effects were just right." Like many Pre-Cert releases, this project is as a micro-archive of experiments and references, leaving an open-ended avenue for further volumes. By contrasting processed modular synth tones with recorded and transposed melodic pulses, Xian Orphic adds lo-fi domestic sounds and classic Kosmische to paint positive psychological relationships. The overall effect manages to reflect elements of German electronic records while re-contextualizing the more optimistic moments of popular horror soundtracks by artists like Alan Howarth, Klauss Schultze and John Carpenter. Cut at Dubplates & Mastering, limited edition of 500 copies." -Pre-Cert.

Title: Creepshow
Format: LP
Label: Release The Bats
Country: Sweden
Price: $16.50
"A beautiful exploration in ambience and darkness by Xiu Xiu and Grouper. This 5-song collaboration was created out of a shared childhood trauma involving some horror film from the 70s. The recording is ranging from melancholic, cryptic passages to lush soundscapes, all the time with a weird cinematic feel to it." -Release The Bats.

Your stomach may be rumbling at first glance of this delectable picture disc...but dont be fooled.. xnobbqx tear the place apart like 100 rookie cops high on sugar and caffeine having mistaken your bbq block party for the meth lab down the street, by the time they realize (end of the first side) its pork buns & sausage sandwiches all round. but wheres the cheese? after the second half cooked curried sausage you wont even care that you cant score any more, cuffed against the wall begging them to turn it over for another blast xNoBBQx summed by their fans on YouTube... Title: Sunshine Of Your Love
Format: LP
Label: Siltbreeze
Country: USA
Price: $13.00
"XNo BBQX are hardcore vegans hailing from Sydney, Australia. Thats right--vegans; the only similarity Matt (guitar) and Nick (drums) share with Cream is a title. All you dairy lovers out there, keep your slowhands in plain sight. This will only take a second. Originally released some time back on the cassette-only label Breakdance The Dawn, Sunshine Of Your Love pricks up the ears in much the same way as a Han Bennink recording might, and left Siltbreeze wondering, whats left in that studio thats not broken? Answer: Only their will! Matt and Nick had played together a couple of times as part of Antipan (with Sumu and Anthony Guerra). On a day off, in a shed out back of a sharehouse in Newtown, the duo did a couple sets with computers and turntables with no records, but then Matt suggested Nick give the drums a go (hed played a full kit only once prior). They plugged into the cassette deck--left channel, guitar; right channel, mic under the floor tom--and played. Apart from minor adjustment of levels, the end result was basically that. The Philly beak doctors immediately procured rights to reissue the disheveled masterpiece on vinyl so that 500 (or fewer) not-yet-but-inevitable fans could bask in the warmth of its crud-o-phonic bullion. And here it is. Youre welcome. Citing both Harry Pussy and Mouthus as influences, XNo BBQX rocks with a lot of junk in their collective trunk, so of course Sunshine Of Your Love sounds like nothing (or everything) anyones heard before. Tom Lax had a steamroller squash his foot once. It hurt--a lot. Hes known pain, but this is a sensation like no other. XNo BBQX might not be a steamroller and youre definitely not Tom Laxs foot, but they have fists and Sunshine Of Your Love will gladly pound your ears into cauliflower if you let it..." -Siltbreeze.

Title: Muryoku Muzenji, Koenji, 2010 / Happy, Wellington, 2009
Format: Cass
Label: Dungeon Taxis
Country: New Zealand
Price: $7.50
"Flipped reprisal of that 2009 New Zealand incursion, this live Tokyo/Wellington diptych steps to the mic in unruly, xenolinguistic fashion, its squashy drums and guitar fission the most munchy and hyperventilated of all Matt Earle and Nick Dans released programmes. Muryoku Muzenji, Koenji, 2010s counterpoint creature squall dovetails with rhizomatic kit blare and toothed glissandi in horn-like confusion. Happy, Wellington, 2009 is such an unreal Bolero – like crazy tormenting 4/4s, gamelan detunes, and poltergeist tempo hassle." - Dungeon Taxis.

Label: HoZac

Price: $6.00
"The initial swooning rhythm thrust forth by Brooklyns quickly ascending XRAY EYEBALLS is a heady blast of creeping distortion beautifully bent into perspective by these insidious inhabitants of the dark corners of your mind. With these three tracks on their debut 7-inch EP, we get a glimpse at the mesmerizing range of slurred styles that they encapsulate so well, both throbbing along at a heartbeat-pace and quivering restlessly, XRay Eyeballs knock out the instant hits with an effortless ease that feels so right, it refreshes your cloudy state of mind instantly. Infectious pop filtered through a dizzying framework of noise and frenzy, this EP has that certain lovely nastiness that it takes to make an intriguing first impression. Edition of 500 copies on black vinyl." -HoZac

Title: Network
Format: CD
Label: Impulsy Stetoskopu
Country: Poland
Price: $16.50
"the twenty committee was my project with chris scarpino; it ran from 1981-1985. network was my first lp release and the first classic of my long career. it was the second xx committee release following a cassette, steel negro music, on arph records. network was originally supposed to appear on charles balls lust/unlust label but it went bust (unbust). luckily, a couple of weeks after we heard the terrible, terrible news, thermidor records got in touch and ended up releasing the lp. our idea was simple one. we wanted to strip industrial music, which we both enjoyed, of all of its rock moves and create a music that sounded like idealized heavy industrial machinery. we thought the repetition of our music, as well as the sound, was a radical critique of the exploitive nature of work under consumer-capitalism. we wanted to make machine-like anthems of negativity, but like the sound of heavy machinery, with a stark and powerful beauty. thats what we thought, anyway. the record sank without a trace. chris got disillusioned over the actual opportunity to make good art and make a living and went into engineering. ive stayed the course. it seems like he may have been right. at any rate, this is a nicely done and fully authorized re-issue by the polish label impulsy stetoskopu. numbered edition of 250 copies, well mastered from the lp. nice digipak reproduction of the cover with photos on the inside." - Scott Foust (Story Of Failure, Idea Fire Company, Tart, Shadow Ring, Pickle Factory, Anschluss, Swill Radio, etc..). ⿿25th anniverary⿝ edition of the 1983 LP originally released on Joe Carduccis legendary Thermidor label.

Title: Tony Conrad/ Jutta Koether/ John Miller
Format: LP
Label: From the Nursery/Primary Information
Country: Germany
Price: $20.00
"Primary Information and From The Nursery are pleased to announce their first collaborative release, an album by XXX MACARENA, a band comprised of Tony Conrad on violin, Jutta Koether on synthesizer, and John Miller on guitar. XXX MACARENA was recorded live at the Kunsthalle Zurich in June 2009. The performance is an entirely improvised 42-minute piece that ranges from microscopic detail to seismic wall-of-sound, full of intensities and introspection; a composition in-the-moment ?? like a crime, understood as somehow both premeditated and a matter of chance." - Primary Information.
